Judy Irish
Since graduating with a degree in Art, Judy has taught Art and Quilting from New York to the Pacific Northwest. In addition, she quilts for many internationally known quilt artists such as Kaffe Fassett, Liza Prior Lucy, Marilyn Doheny, Freddie Moran, and others. Judy enjoys creating an environment for students that is fun, supportive, and stress-free. We are fortunate to have Judy teaching at Cascade Fabrics.
Barbara Dahl
Barbara is a gifted instructor who enjoys teaching quilting. She also loves taking classes and bringing back what she has learned to her students. She has a great sense of humor and makes her classes fun and supportive. You can see some of Barbara’s offerings on her public Facebook group called “Barbara Dahl’s Workshops and Wanderings.” We enjoy having Barbara teach at Cascade Fabrics!
Sharyn Erickson
Sharyn has been sewing and crafting in one form or another all her adult life. She has done needlework crafts and sewing for over 50 years and quilting for almost 25 years. She has taught many classes in NW Washington and exhibited her beautiful quilts in Paducah, Kentucky and Houston, Texas. We are so fortunate Sharyn is teaching at Cascade Fabrics.
Rachel Ferguson
Rachel is self taught and has been sewing for 8 years. She has always been a lover and collector of historic and vintage items. She likes to repurpose vintage linens, trims, and fabrics collected “out in the wild,” at thrift shops and estate sales. You can find some of Rachel’s items at the Lido Collective Art Gallery in Mount Vernon and The Lucky Dumpster in Edison. We are fortunate to have Rachel living right here in Sedro-Woolley and teaching at Cascade Fabrics!
Bonita Yeager
Bonita is a talented painter as well as a quilter. She enjoys combining the two and uses several different media including acrylic paint, and art pencils in her quilts. We are happy that Bonita has agreed to share her gifts in her classes.
Raychelle Stern
Raychelle has been sewing beginning at age seven on her grandmother’s Singer treadle machine. She learned early on that, if she wanted clothes that fit correctly and looked good she needed to make them herself. Mostly self-taught, she has also studied with Marci Tilton and Sandra Betzina, both of whom now design patterns for Vogue. She has also been quilting for the last 20 years, however making beautiful clothing is still her passion. We are very excited to have Raychelle teach at Cascade Fabrics.
Shirley Rock
Shirley is a watercolor artist and quilter. She has combined the two to paint on fabrics. She has taught many classes including a block of the month. Shirley is also skilled as an applique quilter, featuring ‘needle turn’ applique and has won ribbons for her creations. She is always reaching for new art forms. Her love of fabrics and paint are boundless. We are happy Shirley is teaching at Cascade Fabrics again.
